The software product developed by the company is intended for task management, control, accounting, and planning of income and expenses related to business activities, companies, enterprises of any profile, and personnel management. The system must ensure:
- increasing the discipline of financial expenses;
- management and control of the company’s employees’ performance of necessary business processes;
- increasing decision-making speed;
- effective personnel management.
A hierarchical structure of object representation is used to automate the company’s activities. The object hierarchy is a tree in which nodes can correspond to different types of objects, such as property, department, employee, car, plane, etc. At the top of the “tree” is the company owner, who sees the entire “tree” of objects. Each object can see only those objects that are below it.
Other types of objects or entities such as:
- system user;
- the task/subtask;
- the payment;
- multimedia files;
- the accounts
Users of the system can act as objects in the “tree” structure and be tied to other objects. Also, users can create tasks for each other. If the user cannot fulfill it, he can reassign to another user, who may be below him, or transfer to one level above.
If the task needs to be reassigned to a higher level, the system automatically selects the responsible predecessor for its execution, since there is only one predecessor for each user.
A task is created by users-objects to fulfill the user requests. Examples of such tasks can be a request for the allocation of funds for refueling a car or a request for the transfer of funds to an employee’s card account to pay for his expenses related to a business trip. Every task has an initiator. The initiator is the user who creates a task that can be completed or rejected. Task rejections can be made only by users who are one level higher. If the task is completed, then the initiator should close this task. If the initiator is not satisfied with the result of the task, he can reassign the person responsible for its implementation. Another feature of the essence of the task is that: it is possible to create sub-tasks within it, which can be performed by different users.
To account for expenses for each object, you can create accounts, the balances of which will accumulate expenses that are associated with this object. Users who are assigned to their objects can create an unlimited number of multi-currency accounts. All payments are created in tasks where they are linked to the object and the object account. If the user needs to receive funds to solve his problems, he can create tasks for receiving these funds.
The last entity in the system is the multimedia files, which can also be attached to objects. Files can be of any format. The attached files are available for higher-level objects.
